Clinical Decision Support for Chronic Care in Italy

Duodecim Medical Publications Ltd and Medilogy Srl have entered into an agreement to introduce clinical decision support system to Italian health care system. The concept includes a novel Evidence Based Medicine electronic Decision Support system (EBMeDS) by Duodecim, integrated with e-MMG suite and Chronic Care Framework by Medilogy. The integrated solution will assist doctors and nurses by providing automatic reminders, prompts and alerts as well as care guidelines to users in their Electronic Medical Record.

“EBMeDS will allow us to bring, first in Italy, context-sensitive Evidence Based Medicine guidance at the point of care”, states Mr. Massimo Mangia, who heads the project at Medilogy.
